PPARγ agonist / PPARgamma agonist. Stimulates recruitment of transcriptional coactivators to PPARgamma at 1 µM. Stimulates adipogenesis in human mesenchymal stem cells. Induces apoptosis in a variety of tumor cells lines. Cell permeable.
