PODS® Human FGF-20

PODS® Human FGF-20 contains the polyhedrin protein co-crystalized with Human FGF-20. Fibroblast Growth Factor 20 (FGF-20) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family, more specifically of the FGF-9 subfamily based on their structural and sequence similarities. It is expressed by a variety of cell types including fibroblasts, dopaminergic neurons, keratinocytes and epithelial cells. FGF-20, also regarded as a secreted neurotrophic factor, is involved in many biological processes, such as tumour growth, tissue repair, and embryonic development, specifically in the development of the central nervous system. It has shown to interact with FGF receptors 1c, 2c, 3b and 3c and 4c.
