NRF2 signaling activator / Activator of NRF2 signaling (EC50 ~ 1 µM cellular ARE-LUC assay).1 It inhibits phosphoglycerate kinase 1 leading to a build-up of methylglyoxal which inactivates KEAP1. It protected SH-SY5Y neuronal cells from MPP+ induced oxidative injury via activation of NRF2 signaling.2
