FGF-22, human recombinant
Human FGF-22 is a member of the FGF-7 subfamily of growth factors. Human FGF-22 shares 86% homology to Mouse FGF-22, and is synthesized by multiple cell lines including neurons, keratinocytes and skeletal muscle myotubes. It is believed to function as an organizer of the presynaptic apparatus. Recombinant Human FGF-22 is a nonglycosylated polypeptide protein.
