IL-2, human recombinant
IL-2 is an immunomodulatory cytokine produced by stimulated T-cells. Its activity is signaled via interaction with the IL-2R receptor. Recombinant IL-2 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain. Recombinant human IL-2 has a Ser substitute for Cysteine at position 126.
