GPX4 inhibitor; Ferroptosis inducer / Induces ferroptosis by inhibiting glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) which causes accumulation of lipid hydroperoxides.1 Ferroptosis induction may be its mechanism of action as a cancer chemotherapeutic.2 Clinically useful agent for ovarian cancer.3,4
